Warped Cigars was founded by Kyle Gellis, and the Cloud Hopper line debuted in 2017 as the first release of Edition One, a collaboration between Kyle and his brother Devin. The name comes from the brothers' shared love of travel and the stories they trade from their time in the air. The original Cloud Hopper is a Nicaraguan puro made by Aganorsa. Cloud Hopper Black, released in October 2026, is the second blend to carry the Cloud Hopper name. It moves to a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler, and it is made at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) in Estelí rather than by Aganorsa. It comes in two sizes, the No. 53 (5¼ x 42) and the No. 485 (5 x 48), both in boxes of 25.

Review
First Third
Sweet chocolate notes and pepper on the light, with very slight roasted coffee notes and woody spice on the finish. The draw is a little tight but certainly workable, and a wonderful aroma. Cedar is starting to come out with the chocolate. Very light spiced cedar on the finish with some chocolate notes. A very slight cream note is coming out on the finish with pepper, still with hints of chocolate.
Second Third
A caramel note is coming out on the finish, one of the first times I've ever experienced that in a cigar, almost like a chocolate caramel brownie with some spice on the finish. Very wonderful and enjoyable. Spiced woody notes are growing in the second third, with more spice on the finish now. Getting near the end of the second third, roasted coffee is starting to come through again, with more of a nutty flavor this time around.
Final Third
In the final third, a chocolate brownie note is coming through in a big way, along with a cinnamon spice and a peppery cedar on the finish. Pepper and black coffee start to come out stronger in the final third. Cinnamon, cedar and chocolate nuts come out with some spice on the finish. Spiced and nutty notes continue to come through, and the pepper and spice continue to build. The final third finish has espresso notes and spiced cedar.
