Cigar Releases You Might Have Missed: October 2026

October brought a wave of new cigars to humidors, from Veterans Day tributes and Halloween exclusives to anniversary blends and long-awaited returns. We covered a good number of them as they were announced, but a few more reached stores without a story of their own here.

Using the October 2026 cigar release list from Developing Palates as our starting point, we went back through the month and pulled together the releases we had not yet covered. Below you will find the key details for each one, including sizes, pricing, blends, factories and production numbers where the companies have shared them.

2 Sisters Sorella di Notte: Sister of the Night

  • Size: 6 1/8 x 42

  • Price: $10.90 per cigar, $272.50 per box of 25

  • Wrapper: Ecuador (Habano)

  • Binder: Honduras

  • Filler: Honduras & Nicaragua

  • Strength: Medium

  • Factory: Honduras; blended by Hamlet Paredes

  • Company: Fabrica 5 / Bond Roberts

Fabrica 5, the brand from Bond Roberts, launched its new 2 Sisters line in October with Sorella di Notte: Sister of the Night. The cigar measures 6 1/8 x 42 and pairs an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Honduran binder and a filler of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The blend was created by Hamlet Paredes, and the cigars are made in Honduras.

Rob Ayala developed the line as a tribute to Diana Ayala and Lisa Goreta, two women who share roughly 50 years of experience in the Cuban cigar trade, and more broadly to the women working throughout the cigar industry. The blend was inspired by the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux. Sorella di Notte is the first of four planned blends under the 2 Sisters name.

It is described as medium-full, with notes of earth, pepper, nutmeg and cocoa.

The Buzz Saw first appeared in 2021 as part of the Hive sampler, then became a standalone Smoke Inn exclusive in September 2024 as a 5 x 56 perfecto. That release was also the Florida retailer's first exclusive with Fábrica Oveja Negra. The new version went on sale Oct. 30 through Smoke Inn's stores and website. Production numbers were not disclosed.

Crowned Heads' Belgian Blue returned for a third year as a 5 1/4 x 54 box-pressed robusto extra. It is produced at D'Hatuey Tabacos S.A. in Estelí, the factory overseen by Eradio Pichardo.

The name comes from the heavily muscled Belgian Blue cattle breed, a fitting reference for a cigar built around so much ligero. The 2024 edition was a 6 x 54 and the 2025 edition a 5 1/2 x 56. This year's run is 2,500 boxes of 12, and the cigars began shipping to retailers in late October.

Production is limited to 4,000 cigars in 20-count boxes.

The retailer describes it as opening with black pepper before moving into earth, leather, dark chocolate, star anise and espresso with a touch of sweetness.

The name is intentional. It is a sequel to Nosferatu, the store's first Halloween exclusive in 2022, which was followed by Renfield, Soul Collector and Renfield Remastered. Nosferatwo is OGT's fifth Halloween release and its first with Espinosa, and Andrew Drazin returned to redraw the Count Orlok artwork. The cigar was also included in the October OGT Cigar Society box. Production numbers and the factory were not disclosed.

Hooten Young, the veteran-owned cigar and whiskey company, released the Gothic Serpent Culebra in October. The name comes from Operation Gothic Serpent, the 1993 mission that included the Battle of Mogadishu depicted in Black Hawk Down. Co-founder Norm Hooten is a former Delta Force operator who took part in the operation. The cigars are made by Córdoba & Morales in Nicaragua and are meant to be unbraided and smoked individually. Check out our curated music playlists for Tatuaje Cigars here

  • Size: 6 x 38 (Petite Lancero)

  • Price: $9.50 per cigar, $237.50 per box of 25

  • Skinny Krueger: Mexico (San Andrés) wrapper; Nicaragua binder and filler

  • Skinny Michael: Ecuador (Habano) wrapper; Nicaragua binder and filler

  • Factory: My Father Cigars S.A., Nicaragua

  • Release: Shipped the week of Oct. 19

Tatuaje finally gave The Krueger and The Michael their own Skinny Monster boxes. Both were released after the original Skinny Monsters sampler came out in 2016, so neither had been made in the 6 x 38 petite lancero format until now. As with the other Skinny Monsters, each uses its corresponding Monster Series blend, and The Krueger loses its original box-pressed belicoso shape in favor of a round parejo.

The Skinny Krueger uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper and the Skinny Michael an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, both over Nicaraguan binders and fillers from My Father Cigars. That leaves The Bride as the only one of the original 13 Monster Series cigars without a Skinny version. Tatuaje also shipped a limited coffin-shaped silicone ashtray alongside the cigars.
