PCA Joins as Co-Organizing Partner for Puro Vida Cigar Festival 2026

The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) has announced its role as Co-Organizing Partner of the Puro Vida Cigar Festival 2026, set for November 21 and 22 in Costa Rica. This partnership continues PCA’s focus on international engagement and support for premium cigar producing communities. It creates opportunities for members to connect with emerging markets and cigar cultures. Costa Rica features a boutique oriented industry centered on craftsmanship, specialized production, and a growing reputation for tobacco and cigar making.
PCA members, industry stakeholders, and adult aficionados from the United States and beyond are invited to experience Costa Rica’s premium cigars, tobacco, craftsmanship, and culture. “As the world’s leading market for premium cigars, it is important for PCA to engage directly with our manufacturing partners. We have done so in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Honduras, and I am proud to support our friends in Costa Rica,” said Joshua Habursky, CEO of the Premium Cigar Association. “We look forward to welcoming members and aficionados to experience the industry firsthand and support its development.
”The two day program offers a curated look at Costa Rica’s premium cigar ecosystem. Attendees will visit mountain grown tobacco farms and cigar factories to better understand the agriculture and craftsmanship involved. The festival will also feature Costa Rican specialty coffee and fine chocolate, plus social events highlighting the country’s hospitality, cuisine, and pura vida spirit.
Education plays a key role, with programming and certification options from The Cigar Academy by PCA. These sessions cover tobacco, production, appreciation, and premium cigar culture. “The Puro Vida Cigar Festival lets us present our cigar industry, tobacco, producers, craftsmanship, and country to the world,” said Julio León Hernández, festival organizer. “Having PCA as Co-Organizing Partner connects Costa Rica with the global premium cigar community. We welcome PCA members and aficionados to discover what makes Costa Rican cigars and hospitality special.” Space is limited.
