Micallef Adds Orange to Color Series
Micallef Cigars is expanding its Color Series with the launch of Micallef Orange, the seventh blend in the collection. Orange joins the existing Black, Blue, Red, Purple, Green, and White cigars. The series continues to emphasize simple color names and accessible pricing. The new cigar is produced at the Micallef factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It features a Connecticut wrapper, a San Andrés Habano binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The company rates it as medium bodied. “Orange puts world class tobacco in a working man’s hand,” said Dan Thompson, President of Micallef Cigars. “That’s what Micallef is about. Premium quality, priced for the customer, built to protect our retailers’ margins.”It will be available in two sizes: Robusto (5 x 52) priced at $8 and Toro (6 x 52) priced at $9. Both come in boxes of 25.“When you build something with your name on it, you don’t get to have an off day. Orange had to earn its place in the Color Series, and it did. I’m as proud of this one as anything we’ve made, and I think our Ambassadors are going to feel the same the moment they open a box,” said founder Al Micallef.
Micallef Orange will first appear on August 27th at Two Guys Cigars, available both in store and online. Nationwide availability begins on September 5th. As with the rest of the Color Series, the cigar will be sold exclusively through family owned brick and mortar cigar retailers and their online stores.
