Review
First Third
Earthy and nutty notes on the light with a good amount of spice on the retro. A very slight sweetness starts to emerge about halfway through the first third. Light chocolate nuts are starting to emerge with the earthy nutty notes and spice. Getting some spices and specifically some nutmeg on the finish with pepper. Earthy dark chocolate with pepper on the finish is coming through stronger than the nutty notes from before. Slight sweetness on the finish.
Second Third
Nutty spices with a hint of leather are coming out in the second third spices and a natural tobacco sweetness on the finish. Very slight note of roasted coffee with nuts and a slight earthy leather note as well on the finish. Earthy nutty notes continue to come out in the second third with more complex spices. Very slight leather and roasted coffee notes and spices on the finish. Slight earthy chocolate notes are coming out on the palate and finish with spices.
Final Third
Earthy notes continue to come through stronger in the final third with the nutty notes still present but sitting more in the background. Cedar is coming out more clearly underneath everything. Spices and pepper on the retro are still there with a little more baking spice showing up. Slight roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes are lingering on the finish along with the earth and nuts. Strength is holding steady at medium.
This is the perfect cigar for the beach, a walk, or the golf course.
