Davidoff Signature No. 2
Davidoff launched its first named cigars in Cuba in 1968. The Signature line is the brand’s original White Band family, later remade in the Dominican Republic after Cuban production ended in 1991.
The Signature No. 2 keeps one of those first formats: a 6 × 38 panetela that began as the Cuban Laguito No. 2. It remains a regular-production cigar in the Signature line.

Review
First Third
Vanilla cream and pepper on the light. Slight sweetness coming through with the cream and vanilla, good amount of pepper on the retrohale creating for a complex yet flavorful and enjoyable experience. Creamy coffee notes coming through as I'm getting past the halfway point of the first third, still a decent amount of pepper on the retrohale and on the finish. Pepper, coffee, and cream continue nearing the end of the first third. Still lots of cream on the palate and finish. Very enjoyable.
Second Third
Starting the second third, floral notes are being added to the coffee, pepper, and cream from the first third. Still lots of cream and coffee on the palate and finish. Cedar and nuts starting to come out more in the second third, pairing with the floral and creamy notes from before. The pepper has died down slightly but is still very present. Getting to the end of the second third, creaminess is still at the forefront of the flavor profile, with light cedar and floral notes, and pepper on the retrohale and finish. A nutty or barley note is coming out as well at the end of the second third.
Final Third
Starting the final third, the floral note is getting stronger, still joined with coffee, cream, and pepper, with coffee and cream on the finish. Cedar and woody notes starting to come out more, with a slight sweetness and savory note as well. More floral, coffee, and pepper notes coming out in the final third, the finish is getting shorter. Still creamy, but not lasting for quite as long. Cedar notes are becoming more prominent, the sweet and savory notes are sort of blending together, still with a decent amount of pepper on the finish.
