Casa Carrillo Begins Pledge of Allegiance Rockets Release
Casa Carrillo is shipping the second chapter of its 2026 Pledge of Allegiance project this week, the limited Rockets size, after a planned start on Monday, September 28.
The cigar: The Rockets is a figurado measuring 6⅜ by 58. Each numbered humidor holds 20 cigars, 10 of each of two all-American blends, distinguished by different foot bands. Production is capped at 250 humidors, priced at $1,000 each ($50 per cigar).
The blends: Both use only U.S.-grown tobacco and were rolled at Casa Carrillo's factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
Connecticut Broadleaf: Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Pennsylvania binder, and Pennsylvania and Connecticut fillers. Described as full-bodied.
Pennsylvania Broadleaf: Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, Connecticut Havana binder, and Pennsylvania and Connecticut fillers. Described as full-bodied with intense flavor.
Owner Ernesto Perez Carrillo said Pledge of Allegiance has always been about the journey to America and the opportunities it represents. For the 250th anniversary, he wanted a project that was American from the tobacco to the story behind it.
Extras: Each humidor includes a grid-style slot for a humidity pack. Some will support military and veteran programs through events and raffles later this year.
The Toro size shipped earlier, and the Rockets completes the anniversary pairing.
