Tatuaje Cigars will send the sixth chapter of its Monster Redux series to stores in early October as The Jason Redux 6 returns to the market.

The cigar measures seven and a half inches by fifty two. It uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos and was produced at My Father Cigars in Esteli Nicaragua. Tatuaje has described the original blend as loosely tied to its Fausto and Avion work and as one of the stronger cigars in the company lineup at the time of the first release.

The cigars will ship in coffin style cabinet boxes of thirteen. The suggested retail price is thirteen dollars per cigar or one hundred sixty nine dollars per box. Production is limited to five thousand boxes totaling sixty five thousand cigars. Six hundred sixty six boxes are numbered in sequence. Thirty four more numbered boxes are marked XX and are usually held for special occasions. The remaining boxes use standard packaging.

The cigar traces back to 2013 when Tatuaje released The JV13 as the sixth entry in the Monster Series. That series began in 2008 with Halloween timing and names drawn from film monsters. In this case the figure is Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th. Later versions included a five and a half by fifty two Jason in 2014 a skinny six by thirty eight in 2016 additional lancero and cazadores sizes in 2017 a Monster Mash Jason in 2021 and a Monster Smash Jason in 2024.

Tatuaje says The Jason Redux 6 will be allocated to select retailers and is expected to start shipping early next month.

Halfwheel first reported the October shipping plan on September 29, 2026.
