Review
First Third
Baking spices, toasted bread and earthy pepper lead the first third, with cedar and black coffee rounding out the profile. Nutmeg comes through within the baking spices, and the toasted bread gives the combination a familiar warmth. Earth and cedar sit alongside those flavors, and the coffee, pepper, wood and spice are all overlapping rather than one flavor taking the lead.
Second Third
Those same flavors carry into the second third, with earth, cedar and pepper sharing the profile with black coffee. The toasted bread and baking spices, including the nutmeg, are still part of the mix. Rather than a clear switch from one set of flavors to another, it is the overlap that connects this section to the opening, with coffee and earth on one side and the bread, cedar and spices filling out the rest. No distinct new flavor marks the transition.
Final Third
The final third takes on a darker profile as black coffee moves forward alongside the earth and cedar. Pepper gives the finish a sharper edge, while the toasted bread keeps some warmth underneath it. The baking spices are still noticeable, with nutmeg adding a little more definition rather than becoming the main flavor. Cedar comes through between draws, keeping the coffee from taking over completely. There is not a dramatic change here, but the balance shifts toward the darker, earthier side as the cigar winds down.
