Bandolero Firecracker 2026 Now Shipping

A familiar short cigar is back on store shelves this week. United Cigars has released the Bandolero Firecracker 2026, the third time this particular version has been offered after earlier runs in 2022 and 2023.The Firecracker concept itself goes back to 2007. It started at Two Guys Cigars in New Hampshire, the retail group owned by Dave Garofalo who later created United Cigars.

The standard format has always been a compact 3 1/2 by 50 cigar finished with an extended pigtail designed to look like a firecracker fuse. Many different factories have contributed to the series over the years, among them AGANORSA Leaf, All Saints, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, El Artista, Fratello, Kristoff, La Flor Dominicana, My Father, Perdomo, RoMa Craft Tobac, Rojas Cigars, Selected Tobacco and Tatuaje. What began as an exclusive for Two Guys eventually grew into a nationwide program handled by United Cigars. The newest Bandolero edition keeps that classic shape and the tucked pigtail. Its blend stays consistent with the previous two releases.

The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro leaf taken from the Bandolero Aventureros line. Beneath it sits an Ecuadorian binder and a filler combination drawn from the Bandolero Clandestino that mixes Dominican, Nicaraguan and Peruvian tobaccos. These cigars were rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica and then rested for two full years in aging rooms lined with several types of cedar. Only 30,000 were produced. They are packed in 20 count cedar boxes and carry a suggested retail price of $10 each. The Bandolero Firecracker 2026 is reaching participating retailers now.
