Crowned Heads Décimo Blend in Three New Sizes
Crowned Heads is giving fans another chance at one of its most talked-about limited editions. The Décimo blend, first released in 2024 to mark the 10th anniversary of the popular Las Calaveras series, is returning in 2026 with the same recipe but expanded into three new vitolas. Shipping is expected to begin in September.
Jon Huber, president and co-founder of Crowned Heads, highlighted the strong demand that drove the decision. “The response to Décimo two years ago was overwhelming,” he said. “That blend is something special to the story of the Las Calaveras series as it harkens back to the original Las Calaveras EL 2014 blend, and we’re excited to expand the vitola options to give more Crowned Heads supporters the opportunity to experience Décimo.
”The Décimo 2026 uses the identical blend that made the earlier version a standout: an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The García family grew the Nicaraguan tobacco, and the cigars are being produced at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua; the same factory behind every Las Calaveras release to date. This connection reinforces the cigar’s ties to the origins of the annual limited-edition series that began in 2014 as a tribute to those who had passed away. While the 2024 Las Calaveras Décimo Aniversario came in a single 6 x 52 toro packed in 10-count boxes, the 2026 edition expands the lineup. The three new sizes are:
D50: 6″ x 50 — $15.95 MSRP
D52: 5″ x 52 — $14.95 MSRP
D54: 5⅝″ x 54 — $16.95 MSRP
Each vitola is limited to 2,500 ten-count boxes, for a total production of 75,000 cigars. Packaging closely mirrors the 2024 version but features a green color scheme. For many enthusiasts, the Décimo’s connection to the foundational 2014 Las Calaveras blend makes its return particularly meaningful. As the September release approaches, expect strong interest from collectors and regular smokers of Crowned Heads and Las Calaveras cigars.
