XIKAR America 250 Cutters Start Shipping to Retailers
XIKAR's parent company, Quality Importers Trading Co., has started shipping a commemorative version of the XIKAR Perfect Xi1 cigar cutter to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The XIKAR Perfect Xi1 America 250 comes in black, blue and red, and each color carries a suggested retail price of $79.99. The artwork is the same on all three and appears on both sides of the cutter: bald eagles, the number 250, the words "250th Anniversary," and the dates 1776 and 2026.
The Perfect Xi1 debuted in 2023, according to Halfwheel. It has two stainless steel guillotine blades set in an aluminum body with XIKAR's familiar teardrop shape. It can cut the head of a cigar up to 64 ring gauge, and it can cut a cigar of up to 54 ring gauge in half.
The cutter is nearly identical to the classic Xi1, except for an added backplate. The plate keeps the smoker from cutting off too much of the cigar's head, which can damage the cigar and even cause the wrapper to unravel.
Danilo Faulin, procurement manager at Quality Importers Trading Co., said the company will produce enough of the cutters to meet demand. Shipments to retailers began September 10, 2026.
