Wildfire Cigar Co. Ships Off-Grid, a 5 1/4 x 54 Robusto Extra
Wildfire Cigar Co. has released Off-Grid, its October limited edition and the latest in a monthly series. Halfwheel lists it as released on October 6, 2026.
Off-Grid is a 5 1/4 x 54 robusto extra made at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. The company describes it as having flavors of "soft spice, cinnamon, subtle wood, and delicate floral notes, finishing with a touch of sweet tang that lingers on the palate."
The blend uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over an Indonesian binder grown from Sumatra seed. The filler combines Ecuadorian Corojo, Nicaraguan tobacco from Estelí, and an HVA tobacco of undisclosed origin. Cigars come in boxes of ten, with a suggested retail price of $14 per cigar and $140 per box.
The band features a drawing of a towable RV. Wildfire has used a similar-looking trailer in its trade show booths.
Off-Grid is part of Wildfire's pivot to a new approach. The company no longer has regular production offerings and instead sells limited editions on a regular basis. Recent releases include Dead Drift and The Fault Line. McDonald says the series is informally called the Camp Counselor Enrollment Program.
