Viaje Puts Unused Zombie Art on a New Figurado

Viaje is launching a project called Alternate Artwork. The series pairs previously unused package designs with a size or shape that has not been offered in that line before.

The first release covers three existing Zombie blends: Zombie Green, Zombie Red, and Zombie Black. All three are being issued in a six by fifty six figurado. The packaging uses artwork created for earlier Zombie releases that was not selected for the original boxes. Images show a zombie like figure under the standard band.

Viaje is a boutique brand founded by Andre Farkas. The company is known for limited production cigars and recurring themed lines. The Zombie line was introduced in 2011 and has included later variations such as Zombie Biohazard, Zombie Antidote, and Zombie Farmer Bill Hatchet.

Viaje has not announced pricing, box counts, or blend details for the Alternate Artwork figurados. Halfwheel reported that earlier Zombie Green releases used a criollo wrapper and Zombie Red releases used a maduro wrapper. Those details have not been confirmed for this release. The wrapper used on Zombie Black has not been disclosed. Previous Zombie cigars have shipped in twenty count single layer boxes. Photos of the new release show similar packaging.

A Viaje representative told Halfwheel the cigars were scheduled to begin shipping to retailers the following Monday. Halfwheel published that report on September 22, 2026.
