Rocky Patel America 250 Limited Edition Now Shipping to Stores

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars has released its America 250 limited edition to retailers this week, completing a project timed to the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The cigar is a 6 by 52 toro that carries a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Nish Patel, executive vice president at Rocky Patel, has described the profile as medium full, with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, a touch of spice, and floral character on the finish.

Production was limited to 2,000 boxes of 20 cigars. The sticks were rolled at the Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, early in 2025 and have rested for approximately a year and a half. The company originally targeted a September arrival but moved the shipment window into the current week. Suggested retail pricing is set at $15 per cigar, or $300 for a box of 20.

This release continues Rocky Patel’s pattern of anniversary and commemorative projects that pair familiar Nicaraguan construction with a distinctive wrapper choice. Retailers who placed orders should see inventory arrive over the coming days.

TLDR: Rocky Patel’s America 250 limited edition toro, built to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary, has begun shipping to retailers after a short delay from its original September target. The Mexican San Andrés wrapped cigar was rolled early in 2025 and aged roughly eighteen months.
