Nestor Miranda Private Reserve Lancero Returns for 2026

Miami Cigar & Co. has brought back one of its more personal limited releases with a fresh 2026 run of the Nestor Miranda Private Reserve Lancero. Shipping to retailers began around August 12, marking the second batch of a cigar that first appeared in 2021. This return keeps every detail identical to the original.

This lancero measures 6¾ inches by 40 ring gauge and carries the same blend as the original: a Dominican Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan Criollo 98 binder, with fillers from Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. Production remains at La Aurora in the Dominican Republic. Only 500 boxes of 10 cigars are available, with an MSRP of $18 each (or $180 per box).

The Private Reserve series was created as a more intimate project for Nestor Miranda himself. Rather than chasing broad commercial trends, these cigars focus on the sizes and profiles he personally enjoys. Nestor Miranda, cofounder of Miami Cigar & Co., has spoken openly about his preference. “The lancero has always been my favorite. It’s an elegant cigar, simple as that,” he said. “At the end of the day, I smoke what I enjoy, and this is exactly that.”

Keeping the 2026 Private Reserve Lancero identical in size, blend, pricing, and production numbers continues that same spirit of personal selection and careful scale. Five years after the first release, the limited run of 500 boxes again prioritizes quality and intention over volume.
