My Father La Lealtad
La Lealtad is My Father’s second regular cigar from its Honduras factory, a loyalty themed follow up to 2025’s My Father Blue. La Lealtad, Spanish for loyalty, is the second regular line from that factory after My Father Blue in 2025.
Teased in March 2026 and launched at the PCA trade show in April, it uses an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro Rosado wrapper over Honduran and Nicaraguan binder and filler. It is regular production in four sizes, boxed in 20s, with prices from $10.40 to $13.50.

First Third
Sudden surge of pepper and sweetness, also some dark cherry notes. Lots of pepper at the beginning, as I'm expecting on a My Father's cigar. Cedar notes coming through pretty prominently, with black coffee on the finish. Still a good amount of pepper on the retro and finish. Now that I'm about halfway through the first third, the pepper has died down a little bit; lots and lots of cedar. Very woody, with a little spice on the finish. Moving into the final part of the first third: cedar, maybe some light chocolate on the finish. Pepper has smoothed out and there's an introduction of a floral note. The floral note has sort of evolved into a slightly tea or herbal note. Very smooth once the initial pepper blast passed. Cedar and coffee are still the predominant notes now.
Second Third
Second third starts with good amounts of cedar, a little bit of leather coming through as well, and the floral note remains, with coffee on the finish. Slight sweetness is starting to come through in the second third, still notes of black coffee, and almost a salted peanuts note on the finish. The sweetness is a nice addition to the flavor profile. A slight nutmeg note is coming through with the coffee, still a slight sweetness on the finish. Pepper is picking up a little bit since the first third. Coffee note is still present on the finish, same with the salted peanuts note. Sweetness has died down some since coming out. Pepper comes in and out of the profile, the floral tea note is a great combination with the cedar.
Final Third
Final third starts with a continuation of the floral note that's coming back out, still a decent amount of coffee on the finish, and surprisingly smooth considering how the cigar started. The woody note is starting to come out more, and a slight citrus note is starting to develop as well, which is very interesting. There's also an earthiness that is picked up on the finish, taking over the coffee from earlier. Cedar is becoming even more present and clear as the final third continues, coffee is coming back on the finish slightly. Citrus note was hinted at again but not fully developed; earthy coffee and pepper on the finish. Woody cedar note continues with some baking spices as well. Mainly an earthy coffee note comes through on the finish. As I'm getting near the end, the pepper is starting to pick up a little bit. Interestingly, a slight graham cracker note has come out in the final third; it's the only time that note has happened in the whole cigar, but it's worth noting. More pepper and cedar as the cigar finishes up, coffee is very faint on the finish, mainly the pepper note with cedar.
