Micallef Orange
Micallef Cigars, based in Fort Worth, Texas, makes its cigars at its factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Orange is the seventh regular-production blend in the Color Series, joining Black, Blue, Red, Purple, Green, and White. At PCA 2026 it was reported as the series’ closing core blend. The line uses simple color names, two national vitolas (Robusto 5x52 and Toro 6x52), and matching price points. Orange uses a Connecticut-seed wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés Habano binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. It soft-launched at Two Guys Cigars on August 27, 2026, then began shipping nationally around September 5 through family-owned shops and their online stores.

First Third
Creamy coffee notes with a lot of pepper on the retro off the light. Creamy notes continue with a slight sweetness, like a peppery coffee with a little bit of sweetener. Very enjoyable. A woody note is coming out halfway through the 1st 3rd adding to the coffee and pepper from before. Cedar is overtaking the creamy coffee notes from earlier, it still is in the background but diminished from where it was before. Also, a nutty note is starting to come out with the cedar and pepper.
Second Third
In the second third, the pepper is intensifying but still enjoyable. The cedar has relaxed a little and the nutty note is still coming out on the pallet and in the aroma as well. Natural tobacco Sweetness is starting to come back with the pepper and a slight peppery creamy note. Salted peanut note is coming back on the finish, and the creaminess is coming back as well. Getting near the end of the second third and the creaminess is back to a full note like it was in the first third, peppery notes have stayed consistent, and the cedar has come in and out of the flavor profile.
Final Third
Starting the final third, creaminess is still very present. A nutty note is coming back with the same peppery note from before. Pepper is coming through pretty strong, but the creaminess is still there as well which offsets it in a nice way. Little bit of a nutty coffee note here and there. Smoke remains thick and creamy throughout. Cedar is coming back in the final third, still with a good amount of pepper and a slight bit of creaminess.
