J.C. Newman is returning to one of its earlier exclusive blends for this year’s Tobacconists’ Association of America offering. The Brick House Beginnings Ciento Por Ciento represents the third time the company has used this all Nicaraguan blend for a TAA release, following earlier versions in 2019 and 2023. According to Halfwheel, the key difference this time is the extended aging period of five years.
BRICK HOUSE BEGINNINGS CIENTO POR CIENTO
| VITOLA | LENGTH | RING GAUGE | BOX COUNT | MSRP (CIGAR) | MSRP (BOX) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Company officials have indicated the product is ready for shipment, with the expectation that it will begin appearing on TAA retailer shelves during the first week of November. Drew Newman, owner of J.C. Newman, has described Brick House as one of his great grandfather’s original brands, first rolled in 1937 to honor the family home known as the brick house. The Beginnings series is positioned by the company as an occasional collection of well aged cigars.
The TAA itself is a membership organization of roughly 80 retailers and about 40 manufacturers that holds an annual gathering focused on industry issues and exclusive purchasing opportunities. This year’s event is taking place in late October in the Dominican Republic.
