First Third
Spiced chocolate and cedar on the light, with a good amount of pepper on the retro and finish. There’s a distinctive cinnamon chocolate note in the first few draws. Sweet woody notes continue at the halfway point of the first third. Along with the woody and cocoa notes, a very slight raisin note comes out on the palate and on the finish. Raisin, cocoa, and cedar spice are also present on the retrohale. Very slight leather notes start to emerge with the cedar, along with a creamy, fruity, tangy note on the finish. A creamy note begins to come through at the end of the first third.
Second Third
Creamy cedar notes with chocolate come through, with cream and cedar on the finish. The second third is defined by creamy chocolate notes and a building sweetness from the first third. Cream, chocolate, and spices make up the profile, with creamy chocolate on the finish along with light spices. The second third is very enjoyable, with consistent creamy notes and cocoa powder on the palate and finish. At the end of the second third, a very slight graham cracker note comes through with the cocoa powder and cream notes.
Final Third
Transitioning to the final third, the creamy note is still present, but a spiced cedar note comes through much more prominently. Spiced cedar and very light cream notes show on the finish. More woody spice notes come out, with a hint of cream still on the finish. It’s almost like a spiced hot chocolate. The creaminess builds and starts to come back at the halfway point of the final third. Largely, the final third consists of spiced woody notes with some cream and pepper on the finish.
