HVC Cigars has started delivering the latest addition to its Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf series. The Gladiators vitola measures 6 1/2" x 56 in a perfecto format and represents the eighth release in this limited line.
The blend features a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from the Estelí and Jalapa regions. Production is capped at 500 boxes of 25 cigars, for a total of 12,500 units. Each cigar carries a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $15.20, or $380 per box. The cigars are made at the company’s Fábrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. de Reinier Lorenzo facility in Nicaragua.
This release continues the pattern established by the Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf line, which has offered a succession of limited vitolas since its debut. The new size provides another option for smokers seeking the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper that defines the series. According to reporting from Halfwheel, shipments began on October 30, 2026.
