Gellis Family Cigars, the brand founded by Warped Cigars owner Kyle Gellis, is adding a second Piece Unique release for 2026. Piece Unique Emerald Sky is a 5 1/2" x 48 vitola scheduled to ship to retailers in late November. Production is limited to 3,000 cigars, or 300 boxes of 10, with an MSRP of $40 per cigar.
The blend uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut seed wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua that include pelo d’oro tobacco from Peru. This is the first time the Piece Unique series has incorporated Peruvian pelo d’oro. The cigars are rolled at TABACALERA LA iSLA in the Dominican Republic.
The series takes its name from a watchmaking term for a one of a kind piece and is used here to signal that each specific blend is produced only once. Earlier 2026 saw the Piece Unique 2026, a 6" x 52 toro with a comparable construction. Previous installments include the original 2024 U.S. release and a 2025 version offered only outside the United States. As reported by Halfwheel, the company has not yet responded to requests for additional details on the Emerald Sky release.
