Crowned Heads Ships Moose Kick 2026 Canadian Exclusive With Golden Crown Contest

Crowned Heads is delivering its third consecutive Canadian market exclusive this week with the Moose Kick Limited Edition 2026. The cigar measures 4 7/8 by 56 and is shaped as a robusto extra with a pigtail. It uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. For this edition the blend has been refined to emphasize sweetness, pepper, and wood while balancing acidity. Production totals 560 bundles of ten cigars, or 5,600 sticks, an increase from the 500 bundles made last year. The cigars are shipping in forty count display cases that contain four ten count bundles.

The release was developed by Miguel Schoedel, national sales manager for Crowned Heads, and Richard Joseph, premium cigar category manager for Brigham Enterprises, the Canadian distributor. Manufacturing took place at Eradio Pichardo’s D’Hatuey Tabacos S.A. factory in Nicaragua, the same facility that produces Juárez and Mil Días for the brand. The name draws from the earlier Four Kicks Mule Kick limited edition. No suggested retail price was published because of varying provincial taxes.

This year’s release adds “The Hunt for the Golden Crown.” Ten of the 5,600 cigars carry specially designed bands with gold accents and a golden crown above the moose head, hidden under the standard band. Canada’s plain packaging rules require all bands to be covered during sale. A buyer who finds one of the gold bands receives a five cigar sampler containing two each from the 2024 and 2025 releases plus one from 2026. The retailer earns a commemorative gold Moose Kick tin plate wall sign. Claims must be made by June 1, 2027.
