Cavalier Genève Opens New U.S. Warehouse and Distribution Center

Cavalier Genève has opened a new warehouse and distribution center in the Houston area. The facility, in Stafford, Texas, is now operational and has begun shipping to U.S. retailers. Stafford sits approximately 15 miles southwest of downtown Houston. The company selected the location for its central position in the United States as well as its access to a major international airport and port facilities.

The new warehouse will serve Cavalier Genève’s U.S.-based retailers and other clients. The brand has spent the past year increasing production at its factory in Danlí, Honduras, in order to build inventory for the Texas facility. Previously, Cavalier Genève shipped cigars directly from its distribution operations in Honduras to American retailers via UPS. The company will now follow the more common industry practice of moving larger quantities of product to a domestic warehouse, where inventory is held and individual retailer orders are fulfilled.

Founder Sébastien Decoppet stated: “This year marks a lot of positive news that we are glad to share with our estimated Cavalier crowd. On top of the special releases, we have actively been working since the end of last year to open a new warehouse, based in the Houston, TX area. This move includes a new warehouse manager, as well as new processes to provide our customers with new service standards meant to improve customer experience. It took a few months to get everything ready to go, and we are now excited to announce this officially. ”The opening of the Stafford warehouse represents a significant step in Cavalier Genève’s U.S. operations, positioning the brand to deliver improved service and faster fulfillment to its American customers.
