Bocock Brothers Stadium Series Turns Cigar Boxes Into College Football Arenas
Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars has launched a fresh Stadium Series that transforms the packaging of its collegiate cigars into miniature replicas of college football stadiums. The Houston based company already holds official licenses with roughly twenty universities and now brings this creative box design to the start of the 2026 season.The new boxes feature hinged lids on both sides. When opened fully they reveal a painted grass field complete with yard markers along with figures representing fans in the stands. Each box is hand built and hand painted in Honduras using the colors and details of the specific school involved. The result is a collectible item that fans can keep long after the cigars inside are gone.
One of the first releases in this series is the Coach O Stadium Series created in partnership with Ed Orgeron. The former LSU head coach guided the Tigers to a perfect 15-0 season and the national championship in 2019. Orgeron has returned to LSU this year as a special assistant to head coach Lane Kiffin. Each box of the Coach O release includes a special message from Orgeron himself.
The cigar itself is a 6 x 52 toro made primarily with Honduran tobacco along with additional filler leaves from Nicaragua and Paraguay. Bocock Brothers describes the profile as medium full with notes of rich cacao and cedar that finish with coffee. The release is timed for September 5 when LSU hosts Clemson in a game that recalls the championship contest Orgeron won.
Douglas Bocock a founder of the company spoke about the significance of the project. Death Valley is not like anywhere else in college football. Ask anyone who has stood in that stadium on a Saturday night and you feel it before you hear it. I have never forgotten 2019. That undefeated championship season built one game at a time in Baton Rouge with Coach O leading every step remains part of why this release means something different.
A similar stadium style box is already planned for the University of Missouri and more schools are expected to follow.
