Emperors Cut Prophecy Begins Shipping August 1
Houston based Emperors Cut Cigars is releasing a new limited edition this week. The Prophecy is a 7 x 52 Churchill made in collaboration with master blender Manuel Inoa at the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic.
About Emperors Cut Cigars – Emperors Cut Cigars is a veteran, woman and minority-owned boutique producer of premium, hand-rolled cigars based out of Spring, Texas, a suburb of Houston. The company was founded in 2017. It has a retail presence in 22 States and 110 retail and lounge outlets.
The blend uses a Cameroon wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder, with fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania. Each cigar carries an MSRP of $25. Total production is capped at just 1,000 cigars, and the first shipments to retailers are expected to start on August 1.
Darnell Streat, managing partner of Emperors Cut, described the project this way: “Prophecy is a manifestation of all we have learned and what we have strived to produce in a cigar. Every component of this blend was selected with purpose, resulting in a cigar that reflects our vision of premium craftsmanship and our commitment to delivering an exceptional smoking experience.”
This is the latest release from the boutique brand, which has previously worked with Inoa on other projects. With such a small production run, availability will likely be limited once the cigars reach stores.
