Warped Releases Limited Maestro del Tiempo 6102R 2026 Nicaraguan Puro

Warped Cigars has released the 2026 version of its Maestro del Tiempo 6102R. This marks the third time the cigar has been offered, following an initial run in 2016 of only 150 boxes and a return in 2020. Production for the current release is limited to 40,000 cigars, packaged in 100 count cabinets. Each cigar carries a suggested retail price of 15 dollars, for a cabinet price of 1,500 dollars.

The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro made at the Aganorsa factory. It uses a Corojo 99 wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a filler blend of Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 that includes medio tiempo tobacco from Estelí. Medio tiempo is the highest priming on the plant, found only on a fraction of plants and positioned above ligero. The vitola is a 5 1/4 by 48. Compared with the 2020 release, the price has risen from 12.50 dollars per cigar.

An email from Drop Cigar Club, associated with Warped founder Kyle Gellis, described the release as the last time for the 6102R, noting its reputation for balance and complexity along with the presence of medio tiempo in the filler. According to Halfwheel, the cigars went on sale around October 13, 2026. Availability is limited, and the release represents a return for a cigar that has appeared only sparingly over the past decade.

Current release, before being added to the Sticks ‘n’ Stogies humidor.
