Rocky Patel is adding the Matrix to the Tobacconists’ Association of America Exclusive Series Program for 2026. The cigar is a 6 by 50 toro produced at the TAVICUSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It features a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from the Jamastrán Valley in Honduras. Halfwheel reports the blend as medium plus in strength with tasting notes of earth, nuts, and chocolate.
Production is capped at 750 boxes of 20 cigars each, for a total of 15,000 cigars. Suggested retail is 14 dollars per cigar or 280 dollars per box. No specific ship date has been announced. Manufacturers in the TAA program commit to donating a minimum of 50 cents per cigar to the organization.
The Matrix joins other recent limited offerings from the company while remaining available only through TAA retailers once it reaches stores.
