Perdomo Moves 30th Anniversary to 20-Count Boxes

Perdomo is changing how it packs the 30th Anniversary line. The cigars will now ship in 20-count boxes instead of 30-count boxes.

The company told retailers the change came from their feedback. The smaller box is meant to lower the cost of buying a full box and help shops move the line. Perdomo said the new 20-count boxes cost $135 to $155 less than the old 30-count boxes. A company representative said Perdomo has used up its supply of 30-count packaging and has started shipping the 20-count boxes.

The 30th Anniversary line was shown at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show. It marked 30 years in the business for Nick and Janine Perdomo, a milestone the couple reached in 2022. The company began as Nick’s Cigar Co. in Miami in August 1992 and later became Perdomo Cigars. It makes the cigars at its factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, and also produces its own boxes and grows much of the tobacco used in its blends.

Nick Perdomo Jr. has said the line “encapsulates not only the essence of our team’s dedication to the finest quality and craftsmanship, but it also represents our longstanding commitment to our cherished patrons.”The line is offered in three blends: an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Nicaraguan maduro wrapper, and a Nicaraguan sun grown wrapper. All three use a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Each blend is made in five box-pressed sizes.
