Kith, the New York City fashion brand, has introduced a new exclusive colorway for the TUMI Cigar Case, a dark gray finish called astro ombre. The Kith for TUMI Cigar Case is priced at $595 and went on sale through Kith’s stores, compared with $550 for TUMI’s own bare aluminum and textured gunmetal versions.
Apart from the color and a Kith-branded leather patch on the front, the case is identical to the standard model. The aluminum clamshell measures 8.5” x 6” x 3”. One side holds five cigars up to 7” x 60 in a cedar tray with an elastic strap. The other has three compartments for the included double guillotine cutter, a match case and a small humidity pack, though matches and humidity packs are not included.
The release grows out of a multi-year partnership between Kith and TUMI announced two years ago, which has produced special colorways of several TUMI products. According to Halfwheel, astro ombre follows two earlier Kith versions of the cigar case: the black asteroid finish in 2024 and pewter last year.
