Drew Estate Expands Flying Pig With New Sampler & Undercrown Release

Drew Estate continues to expand its popular perfecto shaped offerings this month. The company has released a ten cigar sampler titled the Feral Flying Pig Collection. Every cigar in the set measures 5 3/8 x 60. The blends inside include Herrera Estelí Brazil, Herrera Estelí Habano, Nica Rustica Shade, Nica Rustica Adobe, Liga Privada Único Serie, Liga Privada T52, Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo, Undercrown Shade, Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano, and Undercrown 10. Only two of these had previously been available for individual sale. The sampler carries a suggested retail price of $170 per box. A separate three count sampler of box pressed versions of the Herrera Estelí Brazil and Liga Privada H99 blends appeared last month.

Alongside the sampler, Drew Estate is offering the Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano Flying Pig. This version measures 3 15/16 x 60 and arrives in a box pressed format. It uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra seed wrapper, a Connecticut Corojo H99 hybrid binder, and fillers of Dominican Criollo 98 and HVA. Production currently takes place at La Gran Fábrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua, with plans to shift to the company’s upcoming Dominican facility next year. Each cigar lists at $15.70, or $188.40 for a box of twelve. Both the sampler and the individual Flying Pig remain limited editions, though exact production numbers have not been disclosed. Details come from reporting by Halfwheel.
