Casa Carrillo has joined the list of manufacturers creating exclusive limited edition cigars for members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America. According to reporting from Halfwheel, the 2026 release is a 5 1/2 x 58 vitola chosen specifically to showcase the complexity of its multi origin blend. The cigar features an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and fillers drawn from the United States, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
Ernesto Perez Carrillo Jr. stated in a company release that the team wanted to bring together tobaccos from different origins to create a blend with depth, character, and balance. The Ecuadorian habano wrapper and Ecuadorian Sumatra binder provide a distinctive foundation, while the combination of fillers from four countries adds complexity. The result is a medium plus strength cigar that reflects the company’s passion for blending and its commitment to creating something special for TAA members.
Production is limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars. Each cigar carries a suggested retail price of $14. The company has indicated that it will not produce any more of these once the allocation is gone, making this a true one time release. Shipping to participating TAA retailers is underway this week.
